May 15 (Indyradio) - On Tuesday, Palantir CEO Alex Carp met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, to discuss their collaboration on a new AI framework for warfare.
In January of this year, on Ukraine’s "Digital State" website, Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov announced the launch of Brave1 Dataroom with US technology partner Palantir.
Artificial intelligence is becoming a decisive factor in modern warfare and emphasized that the partnership with Palantir enables the creation of a technological foundation for AI-powered solutions with direct battlefield relevance.
Brave1 Dataroom is built on Palantir’s software platforms. Access is provided to Ukrainian defence technology developers after completing security clearance procedures. In the future, the Dataroom may also serve as a channel for sharing battlefield-tested algorithms with Ukraine’s allies.
According to Louis Mosley, Executive Vice President for the UK and Europe at Palantir, the initiative provides Ukrainian engineers with access to advanced military software and unique wartime data, enabling the development of a new generation of algorithm-driven defense technologies.
We have no further details, except that it's interesting to note that Peter Thiel's man in Kyiv prepared himself for the trip. In an interview last year, Carp boasted:
“I spend a lot of time talking to Nazis,” implying that this is an ongoing pastime of his. “Like, real Nazis,” he emphasized.
