After recent financial loses, the president's trust has surrendered majority control of Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent company of the social platform where Donald holds forth daily. So Trump Media is no longer a "controlled company", as defined by federal code, and will lose the exemptions it currently has from corporate governance rules. For one thing, their board must be controlled by a majority of independent directors.
